Many of the updates below pertain to the SuperEval District Manager role. If you are interested in assigning a District Manager in SuperEval, please contact your SuperEval Representative.
1. Final Evaluation Export Tool
In response to district feedback, SuperEval now offers District Managers the ability to export completed employee evaluations of non-board-evaluated users. District Managers may download condensed Final Evaluation PDFs (signature pages), Comprehensive Final Evaluation PDFs, Final Evaluation Supporting Evidence Files (attachments), and Employee Self-Evaluation PDFs.
For additional details, see the Exporting Completed Evaluations Help Center support guide.
2. District Manager Impersonation of Employees
District Managers may now impersonate non-board-evaluated employees (and the evaluators of those employees) to view the exact workflow and options that users see and assist them as needed. Each employee must give permission for the District Manager to impersonate them by checking the permission box in their User Profile.
For additional details, see the following Help Center support guides:
- Granting Impersonation Access to the District Manager
- Supporting Evaluations with Impersonation and the Assistant Role
3. Principal Final Evaluation Reports (NY and PA Only)
Due to the custom nature of the final evaluation rating calculation for principals in New York and Pennsylvania, respectively, there are now specific reports District Managers can download from the District Management page that account for these special cases and include the associated unique data values.
For additional details, see the Exporting the Principal Report (NY & PA Only) Help Center support guide.

4. Additional Evaluation Fields in User Progress Report
The following data fields have been added to the User Progress Report (available to District Managers) for greater insight into employee and evaluator progress specific to Step 2:
- Self-Evaluation: Number of Completed and Incomplete Responses
- Primary Evaluator: Number of Completed and Incomplete Responses
Note that the total number of responses varies by user depending on the rubric being used.
For additional details, see the Exporting the User Progress Report Help Center support guide.
5. New Board Self-Evaluation Goals-First Workflow
The new goals-first approach allows the board to enter its annual objectives in Step 1 as the starting point for the self-evaluation. This method more closely resembles the traditional SuperEval superintendent workflow that most board members are accustomed to.
For additional details, see the Board Self-Evaluation (Goals-First Workflow) Help Center support guide.
If you are interested in adding the self-evaluation to your subscription, or you already have it and are interested in switching to the new workflow, please contact your SuperEval Representative.
6. User Progress Report Containing Board-Evaluated Employees
District Clerks may now download a report containing board-evaluated employees only (i.e., Superintendent, Executive Director, Board Self-Evaluation, etc.) that provides the same data points as the progress report available to District Managers (for non-board-evaluated employees).
For additional details, see the Exporting the User Progress Report Help Center support guide.
