1. Revised Terminology (coming soon)
In an effort to make SuperEval more flexible and accommodating for all different staff types, many central office and support personnel will soon see references to “employee” (individual being evaluated) and “evaluator” (individual performing the evaluation) throughout the dashboard and within the evaluations themselves. This terminology will be replacing the traditional position-specific language. Individuals' job titles will still appear in the site header below their names as this will remain unchanged.
2. User Progress Report
We're excited to announce the launch of the new User Progress Report! This report is built specifically for districts performing evaluations of central office administrators, principals, and support staff. SuperEval users with District Reports Access can now access user login data, view evaluation progress, and track when each step was completed! To get started, read the User Progress Report Help Article. If you’d like this access enabled for someone in your district, just contact your SuperEval representative — we will be happy to set it up.
3. Update to Evaluation Competency Display
As a result of user feedback, we have employed a visual indicator to better differentiate between the reflections/comments/feedback associated with a domain and those associated with each competency/component. Every competency/component within a domain (where applicable) now has a gray background/box to provide a visual aid in distinguishing them from each other. The overarching domain comments fall above the first competency.
4. Previous Evaluations
If an individual changes roles within the system (i.e., a principal becomes a central office admin, etc.), the past evaluation(s) associated with the previous role will now be available on the dashboard within the Select Evaluation menu below the Previous Evaluations category (for the applicable School Year).
5. Multiple Evaluators
SuperEval now allows for administrator and support personnel evaluations to have more than one assigned evaluator. This includes the ability to designate a primary evaluator and to customize the weighting of evaluator ratings. To employ this new capability for any district user, please contact your SuperEval representative and follow the traditional user update procedures.
