Step 4 of the evaluation process allows users to edit evaluations, add comments and evidence, and collaborate as a Board of Education to speak with one voice. It also provides tools to view how evaluation data is represented in the consolidated report, supporting a clearer understanding of results.

Speaking With One Voice (Board of Education)
Many districts choose to have their Board of Education speak with a singular voice on the evaluation. In these districts, typically, the board will fill out individual evaluations and meet during step 4 to discuss their individual evaluations, resolve discrepancies and come together with a singular set of ratings, comments and evidence.
- From Step Four, select View Consolidated Evaluation Feedback for [Evaluated_User]
- Use the instructions from Editing Evaluation Responses above, to edit the evaluation responses to reflect the combined sentiment of the entire Board.
- Click Overall Evaluation in the top right corner of the evaluation
- Scroll to the bottom to find "Overall Evaluation Comments (Appears on Final Evaluation)". Enter the overall combined feedback of the entire board here.
- Lastly, add any shared evidence files prepared by the board into the "Shared Documents" section.
Redacting Names
Many districts wish for comments on evaluations to be anonymous. The Board President is able to redact the names from the report inside Step 4.
- From Step Four: Consolidated Evaluation Data from the Board, select the orange View Consolidated Evaluation button
- Select Edit in the top right corner and choose Remove Names
- Confirm the change by choosing "Yes, Remove Permanently".
Viewing & Understanding The Report
The Consolidated Evaluation displays the Board’s average ranking alongside a comparison table showing the Board Average and the Superintendent’s Self-Evaluation. All Board Members may view the Consolidated Evaluation, but only the Board President can edit it. This report excels at unifying the results of numerous evaluators into a single, deliverable evaluation.
-
From Step Four, select View Comparison Table to review the Board Average and Superintendent’s Self-Evaluation side by side
Use the legend below the table to help interpret results
-
To focus on one domain, scroll down and select Show Single Domain View below the table
Use the navigation arrows above the table to move between domains
To return to the overall view, select Show All Domains at the bottom of the page
-
To view the consolidated results with Board Member and Superintendent comments, select the orange View Consolidated Evaluation button
This report averages all Board Member evaluations but does not include the Superintendent’s self-evaluation scores
