Design of Step 2.b (Employee Evaluations) & Step 3 (Superintendent Evaluations)
We are always striving to make SuperEval even more user-friendly. Based on user feedback, one such improvement was overhauling the design of Step 2.b (for employee evaluations) and Step 3 (for superintendent evaluations). These pages have been revamped to make them more intuitive, clear-cut, and visually appealing. We have also included new functions on these pages that are outlined in item #2 below.
For additional details and help navigating these updates, please see the applicable Help Center support guide below:
Email Notification Preferences
In your User Profile under the Notification Preferences section, you may now specify how often you wish to receive automated email notifications about certain steps in the evaluation process (whether you are an employee, evaluator/board member, or both).
For additional details, please see the Changing Notification Settings support guide in the Help Center.
Mark Evaluation Complete Button
Employees and evaluators (or board members) now have the ability to manually mark their portion of the evaluation complete within the evaluation itself (even in situations where they have not reached 100% completion in all sections). For an additional measure of clarity, when an individual reaches 100% completion for all sections of the evaluation, a message will automatically display stating that their portion of the evaluation has been satisfied.

Training Hub Help Videos
A refreshed batch of help videos are available in the new SuperEval Training Hub. To access it, click the Help Videos option under the Help section in SuperEval’s main navigation menu (top right corner).
Handling and Incorporating Previous Evaluator/Board Member Data
Employee Evaluations
When an employee’s evaluator changes mid-evaluation, the new primary (lead) evaluator may now view the previous evaluator’s evaluation of the employee (if anything was entered) and decide if their ratings and comments should be included in the consolidation of evaluation data. By default, a previous evaluator’s data will be omitted.
Superintendent Evaluations
When a board member’s term ends prior to the completion of the superintendent’s evaluation, the board president may now view the previous board member’s evaluation of the superintendent (if anything was entered) and decide if their ratings and comments should be included in the consolidation of evaluation data. By default, a former board member’s data will be omitted.
District Manager Role
A new District Manager role may be assigned to any applicable SuperEval user, typically someone in a Human Resources position at the district (requires written permission from the superintendent). A District Manager may do the following as it pertains to non-board-evaluated employees:
View each employee’s evaluation under the Managing section of the Select Evaluation menu on the dashboard
Change an employee’s evaluator/supervisor – note that both users must already exist in SuperEval (District Managers cannot create new user accounts)
Edit an employee’s User Profile to update their name, email address, and title, or reset their password
Download a User Progress Report – provides user data indicating where employees stand in the evaluation process (step due dates, step completion status, step completion date, etc.) and includes their final evaluation rating (once applicable)
Download a User Enrollment Spreadsheet – provides a list of all active and inactive users with their current account setup (assigned evaluator, rubric, etc.)
For additional details, please see the District Manager support guide in the Help Center.
Specify Employee Due Dates in Bulk
Using the User Enrollment Sheet provided by your SuperEval Representative, you may now specify custom due dates for individual employees or groups of employees for each of the evaluation steps. Please place a request with your SuperEval Representative to process any desired changes.
