Welcome, Board Members! This guide has been designed to support you in completing your Board Self-Evaluation in SuperEval using our new Goals-First workflow.
- Step 1: Annual School Board Objectives and Competency Selection
- Step 2: Board Self-Evaluation
- Step 3: Consolidated Board Evaluation Data
If you are a Board President (or Trusted Agent) seeking guidance on completing the evaluation, be sure to review the Board Self-Evaluation: Board President's Guide.
Step 1: Annual School Board Objectives and Competency Selection
In Step 1, as a Board Member, you have no actions to perform. While you may be involved in the decision making process of this step, that will be handled off-platform all required actions within this step are solely performed by the Board President (or their designated Trusted Agent).
Step 2: Board Self-Evaluation
Step 2 is when all board members fill out their own evaluation of the board. Click on Board Self-Evaluation to begin.
Click the green Start Evaluation button to open your evaluation.
Answer each available response and be sure to leave comments and evidence files with each response, where relevant. If you see the text "(required for 100% completion)" next to a text response field, it will be required for the evaluation to show 100% completion. The evaluation showing less than 100% complete will not prevent you from completing the evaluation and will not negatively affect your scores.
Once everyone has completed their evaluation, go to the Dashboard and click Mark Complete on Step 2.
Step 3: Consolidated Board Evaluation Data
In Step 1, as a Board Member, you have no actions to perform. While you may be involved in the decision making process of this step, that will be handled off-platform all required actions within this step are solely performed by the Board President (or their designated Trusted Agent).
