As the District Clerk in SuperEval, you have a unique set of permissions that allow you to support and manage key aspects of your district’s use of the platform. Below is a breakdown of what you can do as a District Clerk:
- Add and Remove Board Members
- View entire District roster and Evaluator-Evaluatee relationships (however, cannot alter them)
- Edit/update any user’s basic info, like name, job title, password, and more:
- Reset user’s password
- Impersonate Users
- Export Completed Evaluations
* Note that District Clerks automatically gain access to all previous school years that your district used SuperEval.
Impersonating Users
In some cases, you may need to impersonate a user to assist with evaluations—such as entering comments or submitting ratings on their behalf. However, you can only do this with explicit permission from the user. There are two ways to receive permission:
- User grants permission directly in their SuperEval profile
- User provides written permission to the Help Desk
Once permission is granted, the District Clerk can impersonate users allowing them to assist with the tasks below:
- Helping the Board President shift the Superintendent's Mid-Year Review to a Year-End Evaluation.
- Board Members who prefer paper can have the District Clerk enter information based on their evaluations.
- Once a board member authorizes the district clerk to impersonate them, the clerk can add evidence, comments, and select a rating within the rubric.
- The District Clerk can advance the evaluation for the Superintendent or Board President, assisting as needed if permitted to impersonate both.
If you require further assistance, please contact the Help Desk or call 1-844-312-3825.
