The Trusted Agent role on SuperEval gives designated users the ability to help manage and support their Board President with the administrative responsibilities that our platform asks of them.
In this article:
Marking Steps Complete
Trusted Agents are the users that Mark Steps complete and advance group evaluations like the Superintendent evaluation, and the Board of Education self-evaluation.
As the Trusted Agent, when a step is completed and ready to be advanced, you should:
- Navigate to the evaluation you want to manage
- Locate the current step in the workflow
- Select Mark Complete
Note: SuperEval does not stop evaluations from being advanced. The Mark Complete button will be available prior to each user completing their evaluation. If you think everyone can or should be able to complete their evaluation, and they have not done so yet, you may want to wait until they are finished.
Moving Back to a Previous Step
If a step was completed prematurely or needs editing, Trusted Agents can move the workflow backwards. If the Trusted Agent needs to move an evaluation back to a previous step, they should:
- Open the evaluation where the change is needed
- Locate the previous step in the workflow
- Click the upward pointing blue arrow icon on the far right of the previous step
4. Confirm the change in the popup window
5. Repeat steps 2-4 until they reach the desired active step.
Note: Moving back to a previous step this way will not cause any data loss. Any work done on the current step will be retained for when the evaluation progresses into this step again.
If the blue arrow icon is not available, moving back is still possible. Data loss will likely occur, and you will need to contact the Help Desk to have the evaluation moved backward. They will inform you what would be lost by moving backward and ask you to confirm that this data loss is acceptable before moving the evaluation backwards.
Consolidated Evaluation Data Step
Perhaps the largest responsibility of the Trusted Agent is managing the Consolidated Evaluation Data step. Please take a moment to review our article devoted to how to perform your duties in Step 4: Consolidated Evaluation Data.
If you require further assistance, please contact the Help Desk or call 1-844-312-3825.
